Interactive Advertising done right

A truly engaging viral campaign done by Parisian agency Buzzman to put the brand Tipp-Ex on the map. Similar to Subservient Chicken done by CP+B, this is fun and will keep you there, interacting with the brand for minutes, maybe hours. Take a look, we don't want to ruin the surprise factor. Sweet find here.

When beer inspires beautiful things

UP THERE from Jon on Vimeo.

You may question the ultimate purpose of this documentary, as it was done as part of an ad campaign by Mother, in New York, for Stella Artois. However, I dare you to question it's quality as a film. Beautiful and moving photography, impeccable cadence and edit, all brought back to tradition and artistry, with a cherry on top: beer.

Esquire's Augmented Reality Issue: A Tour

With all the new technologies around, it's hard to know which ones will actually stick (remember the laser disc, or mini discs?). But perhaps customization, interaction, and live content are a huge plus to getting there. All of the above are included: just think of the possibilities. Enough said. Enjoy.

New Monopoly print campaign

Board games have always been big winners in ad festivals. When it's not Scrabble, it's Risk, or in this case Monopoly. JWT in Frankfurt developed this bright campaign. Bright in colors, and bright as in: "smart!". The simplicity of their insight appeals to the fact that... well, we've all been there. Sweet find here.

Life after a drum-playing gorilla

Cadbury Eyebrows from Nils-Petter Lovgren on Vimeo.

How can you top a Cannes Grand Prix-winning-drum-playing gorilla? Well, maybe you just can't. Check out this new ad for Cadbury. Kudos on making advertising entertaining... and freaky.

Fiat Bravo

Watch this funny ad released in Holland. Living proof of the fact that when you don't have a strong concept, you should get a good director to shoot it.

How to race Usain Bolt

Remember that cocky speed runner on the Olympics? Right, he's already making tons of money on sponsorships. Well, here's your chance to kick his ass. Puma has put up an on-line game that reminds us of that Nintendo mat we played in the 90's. It is actually pretty fun, and it does make you feel good after beating him -which is rather easy. Maybe that'll get you to buy a new pair of Pumas... Sweet find here.

Converse: My Drive Thru

This new ad features Pharell Williams, Santogold and Julian Casablancas. PSYOP, in charge of post-production, live up to their reputation: they made a fun ad to watch, and it really nails the personality of the brand. The creative agency is Anomaly. Great song too.

The Coke side of the Olympics

Unity is the first one out of this animated campaign created by Wieden and Kennedy for the Olympics this year. The ad features Lebron James and Yao Ming, two of the US and China main athletes. It basically shows the differences between China and the US, but in the end -of course- they both enjoy a Coke. It's an interesting mix. Notice the music: a traditional asian melody mixed with Hip-Hop. Sweet find here.

Rubik's cube 25th anniversary

Few things represent pop culture better than the Rubik's cube. The agency DDB New Zealand was in charge of this project with an outcome of very neat art direction. Sweet find here.
